I just cannot believe this video.....The quality of the sound compared to the quality of the video is like comparing a fine  cheese to chalk.   This band has a great sound  and polished moves.  I have not seen this kind of composure in a street band ....almost makes me suspicious if they are not  are professional band...The end of the video after the performance pushes me in the other direction.

The striking thing about the drummers performance is the location. This gentleman is smart enough to take advantage of the acoustic benefits of a underground subway. Location ...what is true for real estate I guess is even more true for musicians who choose to perform on the city streets.

I found this group while walking through the French Quarter in New Orleans. I have since found many other videos that they have made and even a documentary!!! It has been awhile.....and its great to be back... I decided to include public performances from all over to add to the richness of the website. This gentleman in Osaka has always interested me. He plays two instruments while sitting on the sidewalk of a busy city street. It makes for a very striking performance.
